Eat with the locals

Everyone knows this question: what are we eating tonight? Or more specifically, where!?

Well, we are here to solve this problem and give you a wonderful idea. Forget restaurants and pubs and discover a new way to dine: almost... at home. But not your home, but other people's home, because they can host you for a warm, homemade dinner at their house in a Local Gastronomical Point. 

These spots are found in plenty of the Romanian villages, so if you are travelling through the country and want to stop by somewhere to eat a hearty meal that is made especially for you (no premade menus, everything is done fresh by the minute!) you can search for these local gastronomical points (or "Punct Gastronomic Local" - PGL).

The hosts will have you seated in their kitchen, their yard, their barn and give you a little taste of everything: cheese, meats, stews, bread, wines, brandy, served with you in the most traditional ways. If you are lucky and land at the perfect time, you could even watch the food in the making, as locals make their own food and they can co-opt you and show you how you can cook it too! You can sit down for a 3 course meal (desserts are not to be missed of course) or you can do a quick tasting experience.
