Sighisoara Medieval Festival 2025

Take a glimpse into the wonderful world of Sighisoara, Romania, in the summer!

The past few days, Sighisoara hosted its 30th edition of Medieval Festival - a well-known occasion where all the stories about this city come to life! 

Not only is Sighisoara a UNESCO Site thanks to the fact that is a well-preserved medieval citadel, but during the 3 day period (25-27 July 2025) tourists could actually see knights, guardians, princes, princesses, fairies, bards in their historical outfits, on display on the streets, singing, fighting, parading! The whole citadel bursted with life and entertainment, and the people could participate to this for free.

The rich program of the festival was filled with art and history expositions, groups dances, folk concerts, medieval music recitals, crafts workshops, knights' fights demonstrations, magic shows, medieval movies, a Vlad Dracula themed exposition, theatre shows. 

Sighisoara is one of Romania's most attractive destinations and all our tourists love to include it in their itineraries!

It is a lovely place to visit in any season, though! But everyone know the summer is the peak season for travel, so make sure that you will be there July next year!
