Day 1: Bucharest - Brasov - Sighisoara

In the morning, around 09:00 am, you will meet your guide and depart from Bucharest.

We will head to Sighisoara, where we will spend our first night. On the way, we will also stop in Brasov medieval city for an optional lunch break and for a short sightseeing tour. The city provides a mix of wonderful mountain scenery and medieval history with German influences. We will take a walk in the Old Town (the Historical Centre), and discover its attractions: the Black Church, the Town Hall, the Black Tower, Ecaterina's Gate and the Rope Street - the narrowest street in Europe.

Depart Brasov to discover Europe's best preserved medieval town - Sighisoara! Designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, this perfectly intact 16th century gem with cobbled streets lined with pastel houses, ornate churches and well preserved defensive towers, rivals the beauty of Old Prague or Vienna. It is also the birthplace of Vlad Dracula, also known as Vlad the Impaler, who inspired Bram Stoker's fictional creation - Count Dracula. Highlights of the sightseeing tour will include: the Venetian House, Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) House, the House with the Deer Antler, the Wood Covered Staircase, the School Hill and Church on the Hill, the Clock Tower, the History Museum and the Torture Room.

Overnight in Sighisoara, in a 4* hotel located right in the medieval citadel. Dinner included.
