DANUBE & DELTA – represents one of the priority areas that Romexpo has proposed to approach in 2011 exhibitional programmed, considering the Europe-wide concern about the capitalizing the natural, strategic and economic potential of Danube macro-region.
This first edition of the fair DANUBE & DELTA, organized under the patronage of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to become real support in developing a new platform for encouraging and facilitating partnerships among both local and regional authorities and between authorities, private environment and NGO`s by generating projects to increase the economic level of the Danube macro-region.
More than that, the new concept DANUBE & DELTA takes in consideration the Romanian Development Program 2011 – 2013 according to the Danube Strategy and European funds absorption and targets the local and regional authorities, public institutions involved in programs implementation, coordination and aplication in all priority areas identified in Danube Strategy: transport, energy, tourism, environment, rural development, information and communication technologies, culture, education and research, but also representatives of business community and NGO`s.
